  • Recordings

Dan has recorded two CDs with The Campanella Duo. To order either Sitting in Circles and Ringing the Changes or Kerfissien, contact Dan.

As well as having played the Concierto de Aranjuez with Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra, Dan features on their CD of film music. Click here to listen or purchase the disc.

*** STOP PRESS... ***The Boo Hooray Theory's album (featuring Dan and many of Wales' finest players) is out 11th June. Click here for excerpts and purchase details.

In 2005, Dan was involved in the recording of Every Breath, a disc of traditional and contemporary worship music arranged for big band. It features some of the UK's finest Jazz Musicians as well as Tim Hughes singing two of his songs as he'd never heard them before!

The The Canton Café Orchestra's debut El Ultimo Café is available by contacting Dan.

Dan has recently recorded with The Dave Barry Big Band. For more information and bookings, contact Dan.

The friendly and all-round good guys at Classical Guitar Magazine and their sister website Frets Only .

Chris Summerill: all round Lionel-Richie-meets-Mick-Jagger-love-child performer. His description, not mine. Been enjoying sharing gigs with him.

Mike at Yoga Skies: Mike is my colleague at HMP Cardiff where we teach. He's just an all-round good guy and fellow ukulele addict.

Chris and Sabina: Wales' finest instrument makers. If you need a lute, hurdy guitar, period guitar or excellent coffee, visit their site.

Catch the new album from a band I've been so very lucky to record and gig with The Boo Hooray Theory. Learn about the ever-growing Helen Lane, how a slow lingering death is great for tax and why lawnmowers and cider don't mix.

Do you need a Classical Guitar? Visit Chris Gilbert at the Bristol Spanish Guitar Centre. Chris will set up your instrument beautifully, whether you spend £50 or £5000. A man who knows and loves guitars!

If you are in the Oxfordshire area looking for tuition, ensemble playing, music, recordings, compositions or a guitar, contact Brian Penny .

After a Bavarian band in mock Liederhosen playing Oompah versions of rock classics? Well, this is the place to go (after the psychologists...)

Former RWCMD student and old friend Ryan Haberfield is creating a great career as a freelance guitarist in London. A fine, fine player. Check out his videos and recordings and you'll see what I mean.

And another former student, James Smith has gone on to play with the brilliant, weird, off-the-wall, uncategorizable Peanut Albinos. Click on the link for gigs and audio samples.

Congratulations to Dean Heslop , composer, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who releases his debut single and album in December 2009. The poor lad has to tolerate my counterpoint classes as well. Visit Dean's site to support him!

If you need catering for any event, with food made with love by a lady who also loves music, visit Leslie's jazzers catering. Great food, and her fella's quite a tidy drummer...
